In Memory

Jennifer Reinhart

Survived by husband Rich and two children, Madeline (age 9) and Connor (age 6). Jenny touched many lives in health and during her battle with cancer. She'll be remembered by her family & friends for her faith, hope & strength. Jenny passed away from skin cancer.

To all who loved Jenny, you should be aware that Jenny is being honored in two very special ways.

First, Kristin (Knotek) Hower named her beautiful, baby girl who was born on September 16, 2008 Jenny-Jane after Jenny.

Second, when Jenny passed away, a fund was established to benefit her children, Maddie (now 10 years old) and Connor (now 7 years old).

If you'd like to contribute to the fund, you can send a check to the following address:

Jenny was a great friend in grade school and high school. She was one of the kindest people I ever knew.

I miss Jenny so much! Especially her sense of humor. After a day of my kids fighting with one another and driving me generally nuts, a conversation with Jenny would not only make my insanity disappear but also make me laugh. Jenny didn't take anything for granted (even screaming kids - afterall, they were healthy & happy most of the time!). She appreciated everything she had in life. Now I do too - thanks, Jenny!!!

Jenny and I lost touch after high school but when I learned of her cancer I reconnected via a website called caringbridge. I was so touched and amazed at her strength. I was able to share some funny memories with her. She was a truly a wonderful and beautiful person. I always remember her getting on the bus with a diet pepsi in one hand and her eyeliner in another. She would plop down beside me laughing and giving me some silly story of why she was late......that happened every day!

Jenny and I were close friends in 8th grade. She was kind, caring, accepting and had a great sense of humor (and love of General Hospital --at least at the age of 14 --anyone remember that?!) We drifted in high school, but still exchanged big smiles and greetings when passing in the halls. Was always happy to see her! Unfortunately, completely lost touch and just heard of her passing through this site. So sad to hear this. Sounds like she was really happy. Was her husband the same Rich that she dated in high school? My heart goes out to her family.

Jenny was my inspiration through high school and for years after. She was kind, beautiful and full of life. I will never forget her.
