In Memory

Dan Stevens

Dan StevensDanny Steven's was married at the time of his fatal car accident with 1 child in an infant car seat and his pregnant wife in the passenger seat. Danny was zigzagging in and out of the flow of traffic on 43 heading North in Ozaukee running late to where he was going. He ended up spinning out flipping over the median landing on the other side of the highway in the opposite direction of traffic. At that point, his car was faced in the opposite direction of traffic and had a head on collision with an oncoming car. He died instantly, his wife was hurt but ok and unborn baby I believe was fine and the toddler in the car seat ended up in a full body cast, but also ended up fine.

Danny's wife's sister worked for my dad at the time - that's how I know all the details.

Danny was a very cute guy who made hearts throb. He was kind of a trouble-maker in school but made everyone laugh and definitely made LeMay's science class very interesting. It was very sad to read about his tragic accident. My condolences to his wife and kids.

Danny and I grew up in the same neighborhood and used to play together quite often. We even made up our own club. In order to make our club "official" we had to eat two pieces of gravel and kiss eachother(on the lips) I think we were eight or nine years old and the only two members of the club. We called ourselves "The Starfighters" (I have no idea what that means, but Danny was a huge Star Wars fan). I am sad to be the only surviving member of the Starfighters Club, but happy to have memories of a sweet boy who gave me my first kiss.
