I have been working in journalism since 1993. I've worked at a number of daily newspapers including the Milwaukee Sentinel (before the merger with its sister paper, The Milwaukee Journal), Marshfield News Herald, Oshkosh Northwestern all of which are in Wisconsin and the News Tribune in Illinois.

I now work at a small twice-weekly, The News Graphic, which covers Ozaukee County. It's small, but I'm close to my family and friends that live in and outside of Milwaukee.

I was running the second leg of our mile relay team when I fell and dropped the baton, but the team quickly rallied and we won despite me falling on the track and looking foolish.

I made a lot of good friends in high school. It was a great four years of my life. It's difficult to believe it's been 20 years.
