After I moved to San Diego in 1987 (right before senior year), I went to UC Irvine and met my husband. I then went back to school for my masters in accounting from San Diego State University and was sold into slavery in public accounting (KPMG) for 8 years. I had lots of crazy experiences (mostly including drinking more than I ever did in college :-)) and even took one of my clients public. I left KPMG in 2004 after my 1st daughter was born and joined a local homebuilder and am reaping the rewards of my years in slavery by working part-time and spending the rest of my days with my 2 daughters.
