Since leaving Nicolet, I've lived in Europe, China, Singapore, Philadelphia, Berkeley, San Francisco, Houston, and Austin. I ended up marrying the girl-next-door, as my wife Lauren grew up a quarter mile from my house and also graduated from Nicolet ('91). However, we didn't know each other until we randomly met by the Rogue River in Oregon in 1994 while I was on a 6-week bike trip and she was teaching white-water kayaking. We were married at the new Milwaukee Art Museum in 2002. Now, with 3 degrees, I'm a clean-energy consultant living in Austin, Texas. Lauren's a professor here at the University of Texas at Austin and we have fun raising our three kids. I'm still close friends with many of my Nicolet classmates and hope to make it to the reunion.
