I still kind of thought I was turning 29 again this year until I saw we had our 20-year reuninon coming up - I did the math and realized I was just a bit older - someone had to wake me up!
The last 20 years have been all about living life to the fullest and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Marketing in 1992, entered the professional world for a while, then did the work/school thing, earning my MBA from Marquette in 1998. Shortly after that I headed out West to Arizona - life is so much better when there's sunshine every day and no snow to shovel!!! I picked up running here and have been fairly competitive in the Phoenix area - mostly 5k's. My day job is with Fiserv, headquartered in Brookfield, which gets me back home pretty regularly - can't miss Summerfest!
I look forward to catching up with everyone and reconnecting on old friendships.
There are so many fun memories - but one that sticks out was my orientation into the infamous Varsity Club. As luck would have it, I had the pleasure of having my legs tied together and had to hop around school like a bunny all day. I then earned the nickname Bun Bun from my good friend Beth Manders. Wow, basketball practice was never harder than that day! Is that kind of hazing still allowed now????
