After Nicolet, I went to Indiana University and majored in Marketing/Spanish. After graduation, I traveled to Europe with friends (including Karen Chernof and Marci Friedman) and then settled in Chicago where I worked in Organization Development and attended Business School at Northwestern University. Some of the highlights during that time included going on an Outward Bound rafting trip on the Rogue River in Oregon for eight days and taking 17 business school students to Brazil for three weeks. I met my husband, Greg, in 1997 when a friend of mine went to a wedding on the east coast and came home and left a message on my voicemail saying she "met my future husband." He was living in New York at the time but moved to Chicago for business school. We got married in 1999 and have two kids-Jeremy and Lauren. I started my own consulting practice in 2002 that focuses on helping organizations define strategic direction and aligning leadership to work more effectively together.
