I went to UWM and got a B.S. in Computer Science. I worked for SpectraCom, a small Internet marketing company in the Third Ward from 1994 - 1996, then Strong Funds (now Wells Fargo) from 1996-2004, and now Northwestern Mutual in downtown Milwaukee.
Around 1991, I started the Internet Services Guide (a.k.a. "Yanoff's List") which at the time, was the only roadmap to the information superhighway. It got me about 15 minutes of fame (a spot on a PBS show, many decent-paying speaking engagements, and a published book).
I became a vegetarian in August, 2005. I never saw that coming, especially with MY (lack of) willpower, but I can't remember ever having this much energy. While I was never athletic in high school, I know play volleyball twice a week, softball once a week in the summer, and run and bike when I can.
I'd get just a huge kick out of hearing from any of you who are interested in dropping a note. Meanwhile, if you're into any of these things:
